Colusa County Library

The Colusa County Library shares the Library catalog with the Sacramento Public Library, Sutter County Library, Woodland Public Library and Folsom Public Library

You may also use your library card to request items from any library in the catalog that are not found on the shelves of your local library.

You may use your library card and PIN to logon to your account via the Library catalog.  If you do not have a PIN, you can create one following the instructions on the screen.

Storytime is held at the Colusa Library on Thursdays from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.  Children (Up to age 14) and parents are welcome.  The 30 minute storytime is followed by a 30 minute craft activity.  No reservation are required.

Our 2009 Summer Reading Program will begin the second week of June.  This year the theme is Be Creative @ Your Library.  More details will be available in May.

Each Library has Internet computers available to search the Internet, check your email, complete homework assignments, write letters and resumes, complete spreadsheets and develop presentations.

After signing up, each person has 30 minutes to complete their work.  If no other users are waiting and Library staff agree, the session can be extended for another 30 minutes.

Printing costs $.10 per page printed in black and white and $.25 per color printed page.

Help U Read! 

A free program to teach English-speaking adults how to read, write and do basic math in English, G.E.D preparation and job and life skills preparation.

Imagibus 

Our mobile literacy bus visits day care provider facilites throughout the County introducing children up to age 5 to books, reading and building their own personal library.  Funded by First 5 Colusa.

Family Reads

Servicing adult learners with at least one child under the age of six and their families.  Families participate in interactive games and storytelling, arts and crafts and family reading time.
